AA Van Insurance from AA Insurance is a completely separate type of insurance policy from AA Car Insurance, which is typically for personal vehicles as opposed to those which are actually used as part of business.

Van insurance from AA is, thus, geared especially towards small business owners who may use their van in the course of their daily business activities, such as plumbers, or other tradesmen, or such as many other types of business use for deliveries, etc.

Many regular Car Insurance policies will not cover vehicles which are primarily used as a part of business, and so policies such as AA Van Insurance are ideal for many small-business owners who use their vans as an integral part of their business operations.

With AA Van Hire Cover, for example, for a very nominal amount, AA Insurance will provide a replacement vehicle when your van is being repaired after an accident, or if it has been stolen or declared a total loss, or a hire vehicle of similar size for up to three weeks if you have comprehensive cover, and up to two weeks with third-party, fire and theft cover.
